This page explains how this website, run by Inovativa Solutions Ltd, uses cookies and similar technologies. The short version is at the top because it is the whole answer for almost everyone.

In short

This site sets no cookies. There is no analytics, no advertising pixel, no tracking, and no consent banner, because there is nothing to consent to. You can read every page without anything being stored about you or sent anywhere on your behalf.

What cookies are

A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to keep and hand back on the next request. Cookies set by the site you are visiting are called first-party; cookies set by another service loaded inside the page are called third-party. They are the ordinary way a site remembers a signed-in session, a shopping basket, or which pages you have looked at.

What this site uses

None of the above. The site is a set of static pages describing a design kit. It has no account to sign into, no basket, and no form, so it has no reason to remember you between requests and does not try to.

No analytics cookies. No Google Analytics, Plausible, Fathom or anything equivalent. Visits are not counted per person.

No advertising or targeting cookies. Nothing is sold to an ad network, and no remarketing pixel runs on any page.

No preference cookies. A page may keep a small amount of state in your browser's own local storage, such as which tab of an example you last opened. That is not a cookie, it never leaves your device, and clearing your site data removes it.

Other tracking technologies

Cookies are not the only way to recognise a visitor, so for completeness: this site uses no web beacons, no tracking pixels, no clear gifs, no fingerprinting, and no Flash local shared objects. There is no email newsletter running from this domain, so no open tracking either.

What third parties can see

Two things reach the network even though no cookie is involved, and both are described in the privacy page as well.

Google Fonts. The typefaces load from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. Google receives your IP address and user agent as part of serving the font file. It sets no cookie from that request.

Server logs. The host records requests, including IP address, in the ordinary way and keeps them briefly for security and diagnostics. Logs are not cookies and are not tied to a profile.

Sites you leave for

Opening the Penpot file, the shadcn/ui documentation, or the checkout takes you to a service this site does not run. Those services set their own cookies under their own policies, and the checkout in particular needs them to process an order at all. Nothing about you is passed to them by this site beyond the fact that you followed a link.

Controlling cookies anyway

There is nothing here to refuse, but your browser is where you would refuse it. Each one keeps its cookie controls in a slightly different place:

Blocking cookies entirely will not break anything on this site. It may well break the checkout, which is a separate service and does need them.

Changes

If this site ever starts setting a cookie, this page changes before it does, the date at the top moves, and a consent banner appears with it. Questions go to hi@shadcnpenpot.com.
